Certified energy manager This course is presented by Ian Boylan I found the course contents and the qualification itself very useful in my day to day role. As an energy specialist I am dealing with clients from different backgrounds and different expertise and having a qualification like CEM helps me get their attention. Also I feel that my comments in different meetings and energy reports hold a better value and receive a positive response due to CEM qualification. The Course Tutor (Ian) was excellent and I had the chance to refresh some of the stuff from my engineering days. Also I learned few good techniques related to data analysis which helped me improving the overall energy auditing and reporting. The CEM course has been invaluable It was among the best training courses I have ever had I use the learning that I gained almost daily and I refer back to the course notes regularly. The qualification makes it easier to get my voice heard on professional matters I have found the CEM qualification extremely useful professionally I can think of numerous occasions, since completing the course, where I have used the engineering knowledge gained from the course directly in my work. Furthermore I still refer to the course notes now and again which were helpful during the course and continue to be so I found it very challenging, but ultimately a really good and polished course The training was useful and worthwhile.
